Can you conquer a city in Kenshi? ›

You can now take over each and every town, city, and ruin that is in the game. Instructions: - Attack a town. Find the vanilla leaders of the town, or the leaders added by this mod, and make sure they are dead.

Players can attempt to destroy factions which they don't like by taking out their leaders. Killing or imprisoning faction leaders creates new World States which often result in Town Overrides. Overwritten towns are entirely new locations and any Player-Owned Buildings in Town are completely forgotten by the game.

Go to town you want to claim. Open ingame editor with "shift + F12". Select Town Placement and search for the name of the town you are in. Click on the name of the town you are in and then the town marker statue should vanish.

If High Inquisitor Seta, High Inquisitor Valtena and the Holy Lord Phoenix (blessed be his name) are all killed or imprisoned, the Holy Nation can collapse and most of their towns will fall into the hands of other factions.

In vanilla you can't. Cannibals are endless, and nothing will stop them.

To the west on top of the cliffs bordering the westernmost Hive Village is an ideal spot with Stone, Copper, and Iron all together. Due to the constant rainfall, upkeep of crops is minimal and once you get rooftop Hydroponics going, you'll have zero issues growing whatever you need.

Shek Kingdom Trade Culture is a trade culture which removes cultural items from Holy Nation, several technology items, food items and all alcohol except Cactus Rum. Hashish is illegal but not buildings who are tied to hashish production, neither is Hemp.

The top gang is the Hounds, which can be joined by the Player faction.

You cant Join any faction in the game currently as you your own faction to begin with. You can "ally" yourself to Either the Floatsam Ninjas Or The holy nation via dialoge interaction with their leaders.

A low level and low risk area, the Border Zone has a few solid options for players looking to start out their settlement journey in Kenshi. Basically a no-mans-land slotted between the Shek Kingdom and the Holy Nation, the Border Zone is actually the home of several game starts and is therefore quite forgiving.

Can you build a house in Kenshi? ›

Building a house in Kenshi requires players to travel far outside a town. First, bring up the building menu by clicking the appropriate button on the bottom right of the screen.

Many places are able to become DEAD when all or enough inhabitants have been killed. This is different than when a location falls into ruins due to a Town Override. If more than one override becomes available at the same time, the one with the most world states on it will take priority.

Catun is the largest town in Kenshi, as well as the Westernmost city. The town is currently owned by the Dead Cat. Nearby towns include Brink, Clownsteady, Shark, as well as an outpost to the northeast. Catun made it into the final release of the game.
